Food is awesome, and Leo is a fantastic chef! He'll have you laughing until your sides ache!
Great scallops and saki.
The hibachi grill-master we had was extremely fun and entertaining; not just with what he was doing but how he interacted with our group. The food was amazing! If you're going to get steak, just suck up the extra $3 and get the Filet Mignon. All-in-all, amazing experience! Reservations are accepted: ours was for 21 people and they greatfully catered to our request by putting us all together.
Always been a favorite. Food is delightfully delicious.
Never had a bad dining experience, whether ordering "off the menu" or just doing the show.
Always have great food. Can be a little pricey, but definitely worth it. Great sushi.
Yummy sushi. Get the eel roll!
Great place, food is great and always makes you feel welcome.
Great food! Best sushi in Sierra Vista
One of the few Japanese restaurant in the area if you're craving for sushi, GO there.
Eleven years of solid service and quality for a small community in the middle of a high desert. Thanks to the owners, tight family for their devotion to Sierra Vista.
Easily accomodated a walk-in party of 8 on a Sunday afternoon. Food was delicious and service was outstanding. Our waitress Kimberly went absolutely above and beyond! Sushi was excellent!
Always good. Portions seemed a little smaller than in the past. Service was good. Wished I would have ordered more of the fresh sushi. But we left full and satisfied.
Excellent service and the food was even better. My favourite was the shrimp yaki undon and the serving was large enough to share for 2. Also the habachi salmon was very tasty but the added $4 for fried rice in lieu of steamed rice was a downer. Prices were fairly reasonable.
The sushi is OK. The menu is very wide and has a very good variety. The teppanyaki is awesome. I recommend this place.
Tasty sushi. Gluten free options. Gluten free soy sauce. The seaweed salad was delicious. The service was very quick. Joey, my waitress, quickly found out from the chef which sushi options work for a gluten free diet then relayed all of information to me so I could make good choices. The lunch specials are very reasonable.
Food was amazing. Atmosphere was super cool. Our only complaint was my husband had to get up twice to go get something we had asked waitress for. Other than that, totally recommend!!
On the list of things I expected to find after moving to Sierra Vista (middle of the desert), Arizona, decent Hibachi and Sushi was NOT on my short list. I'm so pleased to be disappointed.I'm rating 4 stars for now, but hope to come back in the future and bump it up to 5. We're living in strange times and therefore, I only ordered takeout and didn't get to experience the full hibachi grill fun. The food, however, was fantastic. Before moving to the area, we would treat ourselves to Hibachi about every other month. We've been here 6 months and this is our first try and we are SO happy that we can bring back an old tradition.Hana Tokyo is definitely my new go-to for "treat yo self". It's way out of budget to be a regular trip - but ABSOLUTELY worth it for those special occasions!
Excellent service and fresh, delicious food. I love the atmosphere here. I've been looking for a good, fresh sushi place in Sierra Vista, and I am positive this is it! The restaurant is decorated nicely, with space for hibachi, a sushi bar, nightclub and main restaurant space. The staff is warm and friendly, and service is superb. Above all else, the food is top-notch!
Love the dinner bentos ❤
First time here and I ordered hibachi from the kitchen. I must say this was the most mediocre hibachi I've ever had and my wife agreed that nothing had any substantial flavor.Wife ordered 🍣 and it was pretty good though.Maybe the sit-down hibachi would be better but the soup was wayyy over peppered and the salad dressing, rice, teriyaki chicken, yum yum sauce was all bland.
The waitress we had was amazing. She was on top of it as far as refills, to go boxes, and everything else. The food was unbelievably good. Even after I declared myself full, I kept eating. It was so good I couldn't seem to put the chopsticks down! The sushi we got was the Spicy Spider Maki. Neither myself or my companion are big sushi fans, so we split it. First off, it is perfectly proportioned for one person. Second of all, OH MY GOODNESS! It was so amazing that I will be coming back just for that. There are not enough good things I can say about this place.
Great service and food, affordable prices. Cool atmosphere, fun show.
This place is awesome! Great service, fast service, the sushi is amazing and they have gluten free soy sauce and knowledgeable about gluten free options. The fish is so fresh! Been here twice now and we will definitely be back!!
Very friendly, great food. Will be going back to try something different very soon.
Update for 2020: So the food is still good, but unfortunately some of the wait staff have made the experience of eating here sour. Multiple times the same waitress has seemed to forgotten us in favor of focusing on large tables. Tonight was no different. There was no basic practice of checking in on the customer to see if the food was good or if anything else was needed. Only when we were getting up to check out up front without her did she even ask if we needed a check. Most of the night she spent her time on the other side of the restaurant. I get that larger tables have a larger bill and potentially larger tip, but the focus should not be at the expense of other customers. There is also a managerial issue here that they can plainly see their customers are waiting on the waitress, if they paid attention themselves. From 2018, formerly five stars: Love eating here, the food and atmosphere is always good. Check the pictures to see just how creative they are with the food.
Love this place. Really enjoy the grill. Fun place for the family.
Good food and service, clean .
The hibachi was good but underwhelming at the same time. I just feel like it could have been more fun and maybe larger portions! Food was delicious though.
I love a good Tepenyaki place. This is a great one. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The chefs are really good and worked well with the kids. They serve sushi, as well as grilled options, like steak, chicken, and shrimp. The salad and soup are really good, too.One down side is the price. This place is expensive. Don't expect to pay less than $50 for the experience. It is worth it, if you have kids who enjoy it for their birthday.
Amazing experience. Great service. We love going here. If you go during lunch it's a little bit cheaper than dinner. We will definitely be going back as often as possible.
Hana is a reliably enjoyable experience. They have re-opened carefully and the food is still delish...take-out included.
Upscale sushi, habatchi grill and japanese food with nice atmosphere. Could work a little better on creating more of a festive mood starting with some of the staff but overall very good.
Excellent food, excellent service, in the atmosphere can't be me. Would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. I'm a very satisfied customer.
Our chef, Leo, was fun, friendly and entertaining. We were looking for a hibachi experience similar to a Benihana, and this is it - although Leo cracked more jokes than any chef we've had at a Benihana. The food was fabulous. We had steak, shrimp and chicken, and we all loved it.Overall, a great experience, and we'll definitely be back. It's far and away the best restaurant in town, both service wise and food-wise.
Food good, owners could be a lot friendlier. Great waitstaff!
Stopped in the local area for a few days and hit up a local Hibachi for a good time. The crew I rolled in with were treated to a semi-private dining room for our meal. We were in a slight bit of a rush due to having to return to work to finish up for the evening so specificily requested that we not sit at the Hibachi table. Ordering was interesting in that several of our group wanted to had extra proteins to their entrees but couldn't add just a steak or extra chicken to an existing order. The wait time for food was a little long for not sitting for the show and trying to get in and out however the meal was enjoyable. The sushi was fresh and well presented. The chicken hibachi dinner was very good and had plenty of food and then some. Overall I would be happy to return should I ever be back in the area.
Good sushi. I liked the private rooms even though the restaurant is a quiet place at lunch time. 5 of our 6 sushi were wonderful (especially the yellowfin roll). I would not recommend anything with the “special sauce” as that tastes remarkably like honey mustard. No, I am not kidding. Also, the fried dumplings are alright, the steamed dumplings are worth avoiding. And yes, it is connected to the nightclub next door.
It was very nice. We enjoyed the chef & his jokes. Food was great
If you’re ordering hibachi ASK FOR LEO! I almost never leave reviews but Leo was an absolute pleasure - funny, talented, and entertaining. You won’t regret having him as your cook! And the food was delicious!
Food was Delicious 😋 and the entertainers were great 🍣🍤🍚
Leo the chef is a really funny guy.. nothing but good times..
Katherine was our server tonight and she wasn’t helpful at all. She didn’t know or understand the menu, couldn’t answer our questions and was overall annoyed that we even had questions. She was pretty short and rude, never smiled. Her long gross finger nails touched my husbands soup, he didn’t eat it and we were too polite to tell her. This was our first time at Hana and unfortunately our last. I was a part time server for many years so I really cannot relate to her serving style. You’d think that she would at least fake being nice for a tip, that didn’t happen and we didn’t tip for the first time ever. This is too bad because the food wasn’t half bad. Maybe she doesn’t belong in front of the customer?
Good food, great service, reasonable prices. Definitely a visit while in Sierra Vista!! There was only one cook but he's so fun and entertaining! The streak and shrimp were awesome!
We eat here all the time. I love the atmosphere Quiet. Friendly staff generous portions fresh we always bring friends here they have private rooms so we can enjoy our friends we never feel hurried Always Clean Carpet is kept clean I recommend for a fun evening watch the show fun to watch them cook right in-front of you very entertaining
Four of us went to be entertain and eat at the Hana Tokyo.we went to the table with the grill our chef Victor chopped and cooked at the table. He was fun and made our experience good. However the quality of the food was not great.my tab came to 130.00 Victor was tipped 20.00 our waitress also received 20.00.Once trip pony on Hana Tokyo for me.Off to the next.Iss
They have a rather large and diverse menu, lots of items to choose from! Staff is always courteous and friendly.
Fried rice was watery and the service was mediocre.. Ambiance wasn't anything exciting compared to other hibachi restaurants.
Good time good food good service
We did the hibachi, and it was a lot of fun. Our chef cracked a lot of jokes and was pretty good with his knives. I got the shrimp and steak and my son got the sword fish. Both of us really enjoyed our food and the show.
